SUKHOTHAI HISTORICAL PARK UNESCO HERITAGE SITE  

This World Heritage site was inscribed onto the World Heritage List in 1991 and is one of Thailand's five World Heritage sites. Sukhothai was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam approximately 700 years ago. The civilization which evolved in the Kingdom of Sukhothai absorbed numerous influences and local traditions; the rapid assimilation of all these elements forged what is known as the 'Sukhothai style'. A VERY UNUSUAL DESIGN AT WAT PAH SORN KAEW 

Designed by a monk who was an artist, this is one of Thailand's most colorful temples with its exterior walls covered in more than five million colorful mosaic tiles, marble balls, and ceramic utensils which are broken to decorate the surface. Sometimes people will donate watches and jewelry, to be part of the wall. A five Buddha statue, in pure white, sits on a cliff top surrounded by 1200m peaks. WATERFALLS AT NATIONAL PARKS NEAR SAPPRAIWAN

The area in and around Sappraiwan is filled with natural beauty offering a tremendous variety of attractions. Some of the most notable ones include Poy Waterfall and Kaeng Song Waterfall. In addition, the national parks consist of ecologically and scientifically valuable plants and animals. The parks offer hiking, biking, climbing, water activities, and bird watching. HIKING AT PHU HIN RONG KLA NATIONAL PARK

This park is home to several impressive viewpoints and waterfalls. It was also the base of operations of the long fight of Thai combatant in the communist war of Thailand and old weapons left behind can still be found.  One of the most characteristic attractions of the park is the strange rock formations in the Lan Hin Taek area.  It is also home to hundreds of bird species; Red-Billed Scimitar Babbler, Silver-Eared Mesia, Davison's Leaf Warbler, Great Barbet, Dusky Crag Martin and the rare Nepal House Martin only to mention a few. FIND BEAUTY AT WAT PHRA SI RATTANA (WAT YAI) 

This temple is considered to be the royal temple in Phitsanulok which explains why people from all of Thailand come to pray here. It was built in 1357 and enshrines the famous Phra Buddha Chinnarat, which is a bronze-casted statue widely considered one of the most beautiful images of the Buddha in Thailand.
